Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has nominated 12 new commissioners.
Recall that Aiyedatiwa had in February,this year, appointed six commissioners and three special advisers.
The names of the 12 commissioner-nominees have been forwarded to the House of Assembly for confirmation.
A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, in Akure, said that a letter containing the list of the nominees was addressed to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi.
The nominees include, Pastor Segun Ayerin, Mr. Olaolu Akindolire, Alhaji Hamidu Takuro, Dr. Banji Ajaka, Mr. Boye Ologbese and Mr. Sunday Akinwalere
Others are Deaconess Lola Fagbemi, Mr. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, Mr. Rasheed Badmus, Mr. Olayato Aribo,Mr. Adewale Akinlosotu and Barr. Gbenga Olaniyi.
The governor urged the House of Assembly to give expedited consideration to the confirmation of the nominees.
